Route 364/Page Phase 3

Reducing traffic congestion and commuting times were the main benefits of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s $118.2 million Route 364/Page Ave. Phase 3 project.

That project relieved congestion along I-70 and I-64 by creating an alternate route between the two congested highways in St. Louis and St. Charles County. It reduced commuting times by as much as 15 minutes for local residents while also providing a direct transportation link between the two counties.

The project also made 75 percent of the area’s jobs available within a 45-minute commute for people living in the area.

The three phases of this project had been envisioned for more than 30 years and were made possible by funding partnerships between MoDOT, St. Charles County, and local communities.

Construction began in May 2013 and was completed in November 2014.
