MD 32 Phase 1 Keeps Traffic Flowing
Now complete, this work is part of the $152 million corridor investment announced in January 2016 to improve the MD 32 Corridor from MD 108 to MD 26. The $37.5 million Phase 1 project widened the road from two to four lanes and improved safety along a 2.5-mile section of MD 32 between MD 108 (Clarksville Pike) and Linden Church Road. This section of roadway sees an average of more than 30,000 vehicles per day (projected to increase to an average of 52,000 vehicles per day by the year 2040). The additional MD 32 Corridor Projects include Phase II: $112 million – Linden Church Road to I-70; and Phase II: $6.5 million – I-70 to MD 26.
